2010. Post 1.
I hate New Year, but this one was pretty much perfect. A few beers, sitting on the shore with two amazing mates while watching fireworks and flares, oblivious to the bitter cold. Then we were all in bed by 1am

As for resolutions, I dont believe in making them. My plan is to continue being as happy, productive and healthy as possible. Onwards and upwards in 2010!

Flares over Oban Harbour (pic shamlessly stolen from Chez)An unexpected detour on the drive home forced us north via some of the most stunning scenery Ive ever seen. Im ashamed to say that Ive hardly seen any of Scotland, but our drive through Glencoe has inspired me to see more of it this summer.

Goodbye 2009
The sooner I see the back of 2009 the better.
Its been nothing but one kick in the teeth after after another.
Roll on 2010

Some wine and some paper cups
Guess I should post some actual art here. Pieces from my sculpture, drawing and print blocks. In no real order because I dont have the energy for that right now.

Is there something I lack, when youre flat on your back?
It was the mid 90s and I was 15 years old.
There was no internet, and I depended on Melody Maker (R.I.P) giving out free tapes and CDs. Top Of The Pops was still good, and watching it on a Thursday night was the highlight of my week. Music was pirated not by downloads but by taping the Steve Lamaq show in the evening, and the charts off Radio 1 on a Sunday.
A wee trip down memory lane to when Britpop and Indie reigned supreme:
Ok, Sleeper were always a bit rubbish but I did like this song.
Oh Justine. *swoon*
And these guys.... Ok, maybe not now but when Definatley Maybe first came out Id never heard anything quite so exciting! I still maintain that the first two Oasis albums are bloody incredible and no one will ever convince me otherwise.
Oh the nostalgia!
